Description:

Candelilla wax is a natural plant-based wax derived from the Euphorbia cerifera shrub. In nature, it forms a protective layer on the plant’s leaves and stems, preventing moisture loss and shielding against harsh desert conditions. It is insoluble in water but blends well with oils and alcohols.

Functionality:

Candelilla wax enhances shine, improves the texture of cosmetic products, and provides smoothness and firmness. It modifies structure and viscosity, stabilizes creamy formulations, and prevents separation. In cosmetics, it increases the durability of decorative products, facilitates smooth application, and speeds up the absorption of active ingredients. It also creates a protective barrier on the skin, retaining moisture.

Properties:

Usage:

Heat to a liquid state in the oil phase of formulations. Ensure complete dissolution to prevent graininess.

Storage:
